Ian Gresik Ian Gresik began displaying his love for food at an early age. His journey into the world of haute cuisine began with local culinary schools and finished with him graduating at the top of his class at the California School of Culinary Arts Le Cordon Bleu. A chef of many talents, Ian expanded his repertoire from savory to sweet, and his passion for fine cuisine landed him the position as Pastry Chef at Patina Restaurant, where he cultivating his gift for creating delightful endings to every meal. While working for the Patina Group he also experienced being a Sous Chef alongside many talented Executive Chefs, and used the techniques he attained to become a professional food consultant for JBS Consulting. Always being one step ahead of others in his field of expertise, Chef Ian traveled to Europe to redefine his culinary style. He visited Italy, France and Greece, and immersed himself in many of the gastronomic capitals of each country. His last externship was in the Basque region of France where he worked at Mandion Patissier Restaurant and embraced the restaurant’s rich tradition of bringing together European fare with fine dining. A Southern California native, Ian's love for the West Coast brought him back from Europe, but the love he acquired for the European arts stayed, allowing him to create unique flavors through his remarkable creations and concepts. He now joins Drago Centro with more than ten years of expertise as Executive Chef. |
